How to Enable Airplane Mode in Windows 10
If you have installed Windows 10 on a laptop and if your laptop has wireless adapter in it (most likely) you can enable Airplane mode while using Windows 10.
As the name suggests Airplane mode disconnects your computer from any wireless connection and leave it isolated and on its own. This means you cannot use the Internet or any other online services that reach to you wirelessly when you enable Airplane mode on your laptop.
Airplane mode is important and you may want to enable it when you are travelling by air and for security reasons you are told to power off your mobile phone and any other device that can communicate via wireless media. In such case instead of turning off your laptop and leaving your important work undone you can enable Airplane mode and can safely use the laptop without any risk.
To enable Airplane mode in Windows 10 you must follow the steps given below:
- Log on to your Windows 10 laptop computer on which you want to enable Airplane mode.
- Once on the desktop window click the wireless icon from the notification area in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- From under the Network settings section at the bottom of the box displaying all the available wireless networks click the Airplane mode button.
- Click anywhere on the desktop screen to close the opened box.
- To disable Airplane mode and to allow Windows 10 to connect to the available wireless networks again follow the above steps from 1 to 4 and click the Wi-Fi button when on step 3.
